TO CONTINUE GOLF CAREER — Letcher County Central High School senior Tyler Frazier narrowly missed finishing in the top three at the regional golf tournament to earn a spot in the KHSAA state tournament. Frazier shot a 76 to finish in a tie for third, but couldn’t overcome shooting a bogey on the first playoff hole and Jacob Beverly from Shelby Valley High School earned the final spot. The regional tournament was held at Paintsville Country Club and Frazier was attempting to be the first LCC golfer to make the state tourney since Matt Baker in 2009. Frazier plans to continue to play golf in college and currently has five scholarship offers.
