The Letcher County Central High School JROTC attend its first drill competition on Jan. 17. The competition was held at Daniel Boone High School in Gray, Tenn. In attendance were (bottom row, left to right) 1 LT Luke Little, CPT Brayden Seals, CSM Jonathan Barnett, LTC Ethan Walter, MAJ Brooke Adams, CPT Dalton Haynes, 2 LT Kim Sturgill, (top row) MSG Austin Amburgey, PVT James Jones, PVT Susie Caudill, PVT Jessica Moushon, PVT Jayden Tolliver, 1 LT Austin Adams and 2 LT Maxwell Bailey. Out of the 26 teams participating, LCCHS was the only team awarded the Sergeant Major Michael Curtin Esprit De Corps award, presented in recognition for inspiring the most enthusiasm, devotion and strong honor for its school and team.
