The medical assisting class on the Whitesburg campus of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College has raised more than $800 by selling hot dog dinners. The funds were divided among three families in Letcher County who are fighting cancer. April Fleming, class instructor, noted that she and her students are thankful for support and donations. She wished to single out Kevin Day, Barbra Turmyer, David Williams, Las Penas, Double Kwik of Neon, Mayking Fire Department and Food City in Whitesburg.
