The Letcher County Central High School JROTC drill team attended the JROTC 7th Brigade Drill Competition in Radcliff March 11-13, competing against 48 other schools. The cadets were evaluated on uniform inspection, unarmed drill, unarmed color guard and drill exhibition, and toured Fort Knox and the Patton Museum. The LCCHS JROTC will attend the All Army National drill competition April 7-9 in Louisville. The JROTC honor guard also conducted a flag retirement for the University of Kentucky Extension Office in Whitesburg on March 18. The drill team is Zeik Hampton, Kimmie Stamper, Stephanie Hurst, Makayla House, Austin Adams, Ashley Haley, Gracie Hall, Kody Short, Joseph Gross, Chase McBee, Megan Thompson, Hannah Caudill, Madison Adams, Jaydon Tolliver, Luke Little, Colton Riffe, Jason Adams, Dalton Hayes, Kody King and Dalton Werley.
