Last year, Kentucky Log-A-Load also completed funding an endowment for research into the treatment of heart disease in children and agreed to fund a new endowment that will provided scholarships of special needs teachers who are pursuing medical training. Log-A-Load for Kids is a national program that supports children’s hospitals. Since 1988, the program’s chapters in 26 states have contributed more than $40 million to children’s hospitals.
