NEWBORN – Grant Edward Barto was born July 5 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital. He is pictured with his parents Derek and Sally Oakes Barto of Whitesburg. He is the grandson of Freddy and Sarah Oakes of Thornton, and Cal and Susie Barto of Louisville. His great-grandparents are Tom and Pat Gish of Thornton.
