STUDENTS COMPETE — Students from the Letcher County Area Technology Center participated in regional HOSA competition and leadership activities Dec. 1 at the Cumberland Campus of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College. Sierra Caudill finished third in pathophysiology, Brooke Back was first in medical math, and Danielle Vanover was first in personal care skills. The students were accompanied by their instructor Vivian Back. Dr. Bruce Ayers presented each first-place winner with a $250 scholarship to SKCTC. The students will advance to state competition in Louisville in March.
