VALEDICTORIAN – Destin Kincer was recently named valedictorian of her class at Whitesburg Middle School, where she maintained a 4.0 grade point average. She will attend Letcher County Central High School in the fall. She is the daughter of Stephen and Mitzi Kincer of Little Cowan. Her grandparents are George and Betty Kincer of Thornton, Jack Hammock of Craft’s Colly, and the late Sammie Hammock. She has a younger brother, Dylan.
