TO BE WED – Bijan Tamijani and Camellia May of Houston, Tex., announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Roaxana Katherine Tamijani, to Jamie Ray Prunty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benji Prunty of Jenkins. The couple will be married August 11 in Houston. The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Sam Rayburn High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of Houston with a bachelor of science degree in nutrition, and a 2005 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a master of science degree in nutrition. She is a registered and licensed dietitian and is employed with the Texas A&M University System. She is the granddaughter of Sue Ann May of Houston and the late Charles Winston May, and Mr. and Mrs. Jaffar Tamijani of Tehran, Iran. The bridegroom-elect is a 1998 graduate of Jenkins High School, and a 2005 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. He is attending the University of Houston Victoria pursuing a master of arts degree in counseling psychology to complete the requirements to become a licensed professional counselor. He is the grandson of Peggy Richmond of Greenville; James and Carol Prunty of Marisa, Ill.; and Rosalina Canoog of Manila, Philippines, and the late Arcadio Canoog.
