Pikeville Medical Center has been named a 2014 Best Places to Work in Kentucky winner by the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
This is the seventh year Pikeville Medical Center has received the honor.
“ It is an hon or to be recognized, once again, as a Best Place to Work in Kentucky,” said Juanita Deskins, PMC’s chief operating officer. “Our employees’ commitment to providing quality, regional health care in a Christian environment is what continues to set us apart.”
“Pikeville Medical Center is raising the bar for health care across the state and nation,” said Bryan Howard, PMC’s human resources director. “ The foundation for this success begins with the hard work and dedication of our more than 2,300 employees.”
PMC will be recognized at the 10th annual Best Places to Work awards dinner on April 24 at Heritage Hall in the Lexington Convention Center. Winner rankings will be announced at the event. PMC will compete in the large company category (organizations with 500 or more employees).
PMC is a 261-bed hospital offering more than 400 services. The nation’s only repeat winner of National Hospital of the Year, PMC is undergoing a $150 million expansion, adding an 11-story clinic and 10-story parking garage.
