The Pine Mountain Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, met June 20 in the visitors’ room of Letcher Manor, where two of the longtime members are now full-time residents.

The meeting opened with The Opening Ritual and the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. Instead of having a speaker, the group visited, talked and made cards to send to members who were not able to attend.

Refreshments were donated and served by the staff of Letcher Manor, and everyone seemed to enjoy the time together.
