Police are looking for the driver of a 1990s model Plymouth Breeze who fishtailed into a 2009 Toyota Camry near Ermine on Tuesday afternoon.
The white Breeze crossed the centerline on Highway 2034 traveling toward Walmart at 4:10 p.m. on May 3 and hit a car being driven by R.C. Day of Whitesburg.
The driver of the Breeze did not stop after the collision.
Day’s vehicle was hit on the driver’s side near the front tire and the damage continued down the front side. The Plymouth should have significant damage to the front of the vehicle. The driver’s information is needed to complete an accident report.
Day and his wife, Frances, who was traveling with him, were not injured in the accident. Whitesburg firemen Perry Fowler and Gary Mullins helped the Days out of their damaged car.
