Eugene Polly, 92, of Westland, Mich., died September 2 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Mich.
A son of the late Howard and Betty Adkins Polly, he was the widower of Edna Maggard Polly, and was later married to Betty Rowley Polly, who survives him.
He was a brother of the late Faye Taylor, Beulah Maggard and Clyde Polly.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Gary Wayne Polly and wife Barbara of Cleveland, Oh., and Keith Philbrick and Mark Philbrick, both of Michigan; four daughters, Deborah Kay Mullins and husband Charlie of Louisville, Donna Moore and Karen Horning and husband Tony, all of Michigan, and Susan Thomas of Tennessee; a sister, Opal Adams of Isom; five grandchildren, Charles Eugene Mullins, Steven Craig Polly, George Horning, Danny Horning, and Joseph Horning, and a number of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Polly were held September 8 at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Breeding-Maggard Cemetery at Isom.
