Funeral services were held Tuesday at Little Colley for Pollyanna “Nana” Slone, 58. She died November 25 at Baptist Health in Lexington after a long illness.
Mrs. Slone was born in Martin in Floyd County to the late Eunice Rose Hall Mounts and Tommy Mounts.
A former Letcher County resident and graduate of Tates Creek High School in Lexington, she had just recently retired from the Kentucky Department of Revenue’s Central Kentucky Taxpayer Service Center.
Surviving are her husband, Bill Slone; a brother and sister, Johnny Harve Mounts and wife Melissa, and Francine Rose Thompson and husband Mike; a nephew, Michael Winston Thompson and wife Melissa; a niece Lindsay Rose Mast and husband Emery; four nieces, Makenzie, Makayla, and Mallori Thompson, and Emerson Rose Slone Mast.
Services were conducted from the Little Colley Baptist Church. Burial was in the Adkins Cemetery at Isom.
