NOTICE OF INTENTION
TO MINE

Pursuant to Application Number 867-0552
Amendment 1

In accordance with KRS 350.070, notice is hereby
given that Nally & Hamilton Enterprises, Inc., 109
South Fourth Street, Bardstown, KY 40004 has
applied for an amendment to an existing surface
coal mining and reclamation operation located
approximately 1.4 miles east of Eolia in Letcher
County. The amendment will add 102.52 acres of
surface disturbance and will underlie an additional
128.91 acres making a total area of 420.70 acres
within the amended permit boundary.

The proposed amendment area is approximately
3.5 miles east of the junction of US 119 and State
Route 932 along the Poor Fork of the Cumberland
River. The latitude is 37° 04’ 04”. The longitude
is 82° 44’ 57”.

The proposed amendment is located on the Flat
Gap and Whitesburg U.S.G.S. 7-1/2 minute quadrangle maps. The surface area to be disturbed
by the amendment is owned by ACIN, LLC, and
the Minnie Trivett heirs. The operation will use
the surface contour, auger and/or highwall mining
methods of surface mining.

The application has been filed for public inspection
at the Department fort Surface Mining, Reclamation and Enforcement’s Hazard Regional Office,
556 Village Lane, P.O. Box 851, Hazard, KY
41702. Written comments, objections, or requests
for a permit conference must be filed with the Director, Division of Permits, 300 Sower Boulevard,
Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

NOTICE OF INTENTION
TO MINE

Pursuant to Application Number 867-5341
Renewal

In accordance with KRS 350.055, notice is hereby
given that Revelation Energy, LLC, 500 Lee St,
Suite 900, Charleston, WV 25301, has applied
for renewal of a permit for an underground coal
mining operation located 2.0 miles east of Partridge in Letcher County. The operation disturbs
22.97 surface area of which 13.32 acres overlie
underground area and underlying an additional
16,404.18 acres of underground area for a total
of 16,413.83 acres. No new acres are affected
by the transfer.

The operation is approximately 2.5 miles northeast
from KY 3404’s junction with US 119 and located
adjacent to the Poor Fork of the Cumberland
River. The latitude is 37o01’51” N. The longitude
is 82o51’52” W.

The operation is located on the Roxana, Whitesburg, Appalachia and Benham U.S.G.S. 7 ½ minute quadrangle maps. The surface area disturbed
is owned by ACIN LLC. The operation underlies
land owned by ACIN LLC.

The application has been filed for public inspection
at the Department for Surface Mining Reclamation
and Enforcement’s Hazard Regional Office, 556
Village Lane; Hazard, KY 41702. Written comments or objections must be filed with the Director,
Division of Mine Permits, 300 Sower Boulevard,
Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

This is the final advertisement of the application.
All comments, objections, or requests for a permit
conference must be received within thirty (30)
days of today’s date.
