In accordance with KRS 350.055, notice is hereby
given that Blackjewel L.L.C., 1051 Main Street,
Milton, WV 25541 has applied for renewal of a
permit for a haul road permit located 4.75 miles
northeast of Partridge in Letcher County. The
operation will disturb a total of 56.22 acres.

The proposed operation is approximately 0.50
miles east from KY.3404’s junction with US 119
and located 0.25 miles southeast of Colliers Creek
of Poor Fork of the Cumberland River. The
operation is located on the Roxana, Whitesburg
and Appalachia U.S.G.S. 7 ½ minute quadrangle
maps. The latitude is 37°01’50” N. The longitude
is 82°51’51” W. The surface area to be disturbed
is owned by ACIN LLC.

The application has been filed for public inspection at the Department for Natural Resources
Middlesboro Regional Office, 1804 East Cumberland Avenue, Middlesboro, KY 40965. Written

notice is hereby given that A & G Coal Corporation,
P O Box 2178, Beaver, WV 25813 has applied for
a renewal of an existing surface coal mining and
reclamation operation affecting of 415.46 surface
acres and 559.76 acres of underground for a total
of 689.85 acres located 3 miles south of Partridge
in Letcher County.

The permit area is 3 miles southeast of the junction
of Lewis Creek Rd. and Route 119. The permit
area is in Lewis and Colliers Cr.

The proposed operation is located on the Appalachia U.S.G.S. 7 1/2 minute quadrangle map. The
surface area to be disturbed by is owned by NRP,
LLC. The operation will use the (contour, auger,
area or combination) method of surface mining.

The application has been filed for public inspection
at the Department for Natural Resources, Middlesboro Regional Office, 1804 East Cumberland
Avenue, Middlesboro, Kentucky 40965.
