L.K.L.P. Community
Action Council is now
accepting applications
for bulk fuels for the
SUBSIDY and CRISIS component of
the 2021-2022 Low
Income Home Energy
Assistance Program
( LIHEAP). Vendors
will provide fuel at the
price they have established, not to exceed
the fair market price as
established by LKLP,
and understand that
the customer will select the vendor from
the Approved Vendor
List. The SUBSIDY
component will begin
on November 1, 2021
and continue through
December 10, 2021.
The Crisis component
will begin on January
10, 2022, and continue through March

31, 2022, or until program funds have been
expended. To obtain
an application packet,
contact Albert Smith at
the L.K.L.P. Central Office at (606) 435-7996.
Applications should
be submitted by 12:00
noon, Thursday, September 23, 2021.

sale is concluded to the
highest bidder at public
auction, the following

The purchaser or successful bidder can
elect to pay cash at
the time of said sale
or at the option of the
bidder on the terms of
a deposit of ten percent

the balance on credit
for thirty (30) days.
If the purchase price
is not paid in full, the
successful bidder shall
execute a bond at the
time of sale with sufficient surety approved
by the Master Commissioner to secure
the unpaid balance of
the purchase price.
The bond shall bear
interest at the rate of
3.87500% per annum

Any purchaser, other
than the Plaintiff, who
does not pay cash in
full, shall be required
to execute a bond,
with surety thereon

balance on a credit or
said bond shall bear
interest at the rate the
Judgment bears per
annum from the date
of sale until paid and
shall have the same
force and effect as a
judgment and shall remain and be a lien on
the property until paid.
The successful
bidder(s) at the sale, at
bidder’s own expense,
may carry fire and extended insurance coverage on the improvements from the date of
sale until the purchase
price is fully paid, in an
amount at least sufficient to cover a loss
to the extent of the
court-appraised value
of the improvements
on the Real Property
or the unpaid balance
of the purchase price,
whichever is less, with
the loss payable clause
to the Master Commissioner. Failure of
the purchase to effect
such insurance coverage shall not affect the
validity of the sale or
the purchaser’s liability
thereunder but shall
entitle but not require
any party adjudicated
an interest in the Real
Property, after giving
notice to the Master
Commissioner, to effect said insurance and
furnish evidence of the
policy to the Master
Commissioner. The
premium on the insurance policy shall then
be charged to the purchaser as purchaser’s
cost.
The purchaser at the
Master Commissioner’s sale shall take the
Real Property free and
clear of the claims of
the parties to this action, properly before
the Court, subject to
the following:
a. All current year ad
valorem real estate
taxes not yet due and
payable and all taxes
due thereafter.

b. Easements, restrictions and stipulations
of record affecting the
Real Property.
c. Any assessments for
public improvements
properly levied against
the Real Property.
d. Any matters which
would be disclosed by
an accurate survey or
inspection of the Real
Property.
e. Any right of redemption which may be
claimed by the United
States of America arising under 28 U.S.C.
Sec. 2410.
f. Any right of redemption that may exist in favor of the Defendants.
The indebtedness involved in this action
is $119,847.31 plus
interest in accordance
with the terms of the
Note, on said judgment at the current
rate of 3.87500% from
the date referenced
in the Account Status
Affidavit, September
1, 2018, until paid,
plus additional fees,
costs and expenses
in accordance with the
terms of the Note and
Mortgage, including
advances in payment
of ad valorem taxes,
insurance premiums,
assessments, weatherization and preservation of the Real
Property, attorney’s
fees, title abstract and
title update fees paid
or agreed to be paid
to counsel; the costs
of this action; its costs
herein expended, including the cost of the
sale.
