BLASTING SCHEDULE

Application Number: 867-0540, NW

In accordance with Federal Regulations, 30 CFR
715.19, and State Regulation, 405 KAR 16:120,
Section 3, Public Notice of Blasting Schedule,
Revelation Energy, LLC PO Box 189, Lackey
KY 41643,Telephone Number (606) 946-2300,
will conduct blasting operations in Letcher County
at mining operations located approximately 2.70
miles southeast of Eolia and is 2.60 miles southeast of KY 806’s junction with Smith Creek Road.
The Latitude is 37o 0’ 33”N. The longitude is 82o
47’ 37”W. Blasting activity will be conducted on
approximately 450.65 acres.

These blasting operations will begin within 30
days of issuance of the permit and will be conducted Monday through Saturday from sunrise
to sunset.

Control of blasting area will be maintained by
blocking public and access roads to the area 10
minutes prior to the blast. Post detonation access
to the blasting area will be allowed only after an
inspection determines that no hazards exist. The
following is a list of the blasting signals.

WARNING SIGNAL – A one (1) minute series of
long blasts from a siren five (5) minutes prior to
the blast signal.

BLAST SIGNAL – A series of short blasts from a
siren one (1) minute prior to the shot.

ALL CLEAR SIGNAL – A prolonged blast from a
siren following the inspection of the blast area.

These blast signals will be audible within 1/2 mile
of the blasting area.

Blasting may be conducted at times different from
those announced in the blasting schedule when
emergency situations arise where rain, lightning
or other atmospheric conditions or the safety of
the operation or the public requires unscheduled
detonation. In the event of an emergency situation should arise, the aforementioned precautions
will be followed.

In accordance with KRS 350.055, notice is hereby
given that Sapphire Coal Company, 1073 Riverview Street, Grundy, VA 24614 has applied for a
renewal of an underground coal mining operation
located 0.42 miles west of Polly in Letcher County.
The renewal will disturb 13.74 surface acres and
underlie 559.79 acres making the total area within
the permit boundary 573.53 acres.

The renewal application is approximately 1.50
miles west of State Road 931’s junction with
State Road 1862 and located 0.5 mile south of
Camp Branch.

The renewal application is located on the Mayking U.S.G.S. 7-1/2 minute quadrangle maps. The
surface area to be disturbed is owned by Kentucky
River Coal Corporation and Sapphire Coal Company. The operation will underlie land owned by
Kentucky River Coal Corporation.

at the Department for Surface Mining Reclamation

In accordance with the provisions to KRS 350.055,
notice is hereby given that A & G Coal Corporation,
P O Box 2178, Beaver, WV 25813 has applied for
a renewal of an existing surface coal mining and
reclamation operation affecting of 415.46 surface
acres and 559.76 acres of underground for a total
of 689.85 acres located 3 miles south of Partridge
in Letcher County.

The permit area is 3 miles southeast of the junction
of Lewis Creek Rd. and Route 119. The permit
area is in Lewis and Colliers Cr.

The proposed operation is located on the Appalachia U.S.G.S. 7 1/2 minute quadrangle map. The
surface area to be disturbed by is owned by NRP,
LLC. The operation will use the (contour, auger,
area or combination) method of surface mining.

The application has been filed for public inspection
at the Department for Natural Resources, Middlesboro Regional Office, 1804 East Cumberland
Avenue, Middlesboro, Kentucky 40965.

The proposed operation is approximately 0.50
miles east from KY.3404’s junction with US 119
and located 0.25 miles southeast of Colliers Creek
of Poor Fork of the Cumberland River. The
operation is located on the Roxana, Whitesburg
and Appalachia U.S.G.S. 7 ½ minute quadrangle
maps. The latitude is 37o01’50” N. The longitude
is 82o51’51” W. The surface area to be disturbed
is owned by ACIN LLC.
