SALE
By virtue of a Judgment
In Rem and Order of
Sale and Order Referring Case to Master Commissioner for
Judicial Sale entered
on October 15, 2021,
by the Letcher Circuit
Court, the undersigned
Master Commissioner
of the Letcher Circuit
Court will offer for sale
at the courthouse door
of the Letcher County
Courthouse in the City
of Whitesburg, Kentucky on Monday, November 29, 2021, beginning on or about the
hour of 11:00 a.m. local
time and continuing until the sale is concluded
to the highest bidder at
public auction, the following real estate, situated in Letcher County,
Kentucky:

The purchaser or successful bidder can elect
to pay cash at the time
of said sale or at the

option of the bidder on
the terms of a deposit
of ten percent (10%) of
the purchase price with
the balance on credit
for thirty (30) days.
If the purchase price
is not paid in full, the
successful bidder shall
execute a bond at the
time of sale with sufficient surety approved
by the Master Commissioner to secure the
unpaid balance of the
purchase price. The
bond shall bear interest
at the rate of 5.00% per
annum from the date
of sale until paid. The
bond shall have the
full force and effect of
a Judgment and should
execution be levied
thereupon, no replevy
shall be allowed.
The sale shall be subject to all real property
and unpaid ad valorem
taxes assessed for the
current year and all
subsequent years.
The hereinabove described real property
shall be sold free and
clear of the claims,

interest, liens and
encumbrances of all
parties herein, except
restrictions and easements appearing of
record in the Letcher
County Clerk’s office.
The costs involved
in this action are
$15,808.79 plus interest and accruing daily
at a rate of $1.3488204
or 5.00%(as of September 10, 2021);
$9,696.98 plus interest and accruing daily
at a rate of $1.3927963
or 5.00%(as of October 1, 2020); the cost
of this action and its
costs herein expended,
including the cost of
the sale.
Health and safety measures to include social
distancing and the use
of facial coverings over
the nose and mouth will
be required at all sales.
