Commissioner for Judicial Sale entered on
February 17, 2020,
by the Letcher Circuit
Court, the undersigned
Master Commissioner
of the Letcher Circuit
Court will offer for sale
at the courthouse door
of the Letcher County
Courthouse in the City
of Whitesburg, Kentucky on Wednesday,
July 22, 2020, beginning on or about the
hour of 2:00 p.m. local
time and continuing until the sale is concluded
to the highest bidder at
public auction, the following real estate, situated in Letcher County,
Kentucky:
Being all that certain
lot or parcel of land,
including House No.
326, situate on the B
& O Hill Section of the
Town of Jenkins and
described as follows:
Lot No. 7, Block No. 8,
containing 0.42 acres,
more or less, as designated and described
on Jenkins Subdivision
Map No. 4, recorded
in Plat Book No. 1, at
page 100-101 of the
Letcher County Court
Clerk’s Office, to which
reference is made for
a more complete description. Subject to all reservations, conditions and
exceptions as in grantors chain of title.
BEING THE SAME
PROPERTY conveyed
to Harold D. Bentley
and his wife, Margaret
J. Bentley, (now both
deceased), by Deed
dated September 8,
2004, from Branch
Banking & Trust Company, and recorded in
Deed Book 373, Page

855 of the Letcher
County Court Clerk’s
Office.
The purchaser or successful bidder can elect
to pay cash at the time
of said sale or at the
option of the bidder on
the terms of a deposit
of ten percent (10%) of
the purchase price with
the balance on credit
for thirty (30) days.
If the purchase price
is not paid in full, the
successful bidder shall
execute a bond at the
time of sale with sufficient surety approved
by the Master Commissioner to secure the
unpaid balance of the
purchase price. The
bond shall bear interest
at the rate of 9.75% per
annum from the date of
sale until paid.
The costs involved
in this action are
$19,975.44 plus interest at the rate of 9.75%
plus attorney fees and
court costs; the cost
of this action and its
costs herein expended,
including the cost of
the sale.
Health and safety measures to include social
distancing and the use
of facial coverings over
the nose and mouth will
be required at all sales.

$31,079.61 plus interest and accruing daily
at a rate of $3.8799583
or 6.25% (as of January 14, 2020); the cost
of this action and its
costs herein expended,
including the cost of
the sale.
