RACING TO TOURNAMENT TIME —

It might seem hard to believe, but the regular season is already coming to an end for Letcher County’s high school basketball teams. The boys’ 53rd District Tournament will begin in Hindman next Tuesday when Letcher County Central (17-10) meets county rival Jenkins (7-15) at 6 p.m. In the photo above, Jenkins sophomore guard Ryan Bentley chased a loose ball during the Cavaliers 62-35 victory over Piarist Academy of Floyd County on Saturday. Bentley scored a team-high 20 points in the game. (Photo by Chris Anderson)
