Rare Kentucky plant protected

Kentucky Natural Lands Trust ( KNLT) has purchased 54 acres of conservational land in Bullitt County containing the rare Kentucky glade cress, a tiny plant found nowhere else in the world except Bullitt and Jefferson counties in Kenshots tucky. It is considered rare because of its limited range.

KNLT Board Chairman Marc Evans discovered the plant in Bullitt County more than 25 years ago in his work with the Kentucky State Nature Preserves Commission.
