Ray Blair, 79, of Columbus, Ind., died December 4 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
A son of the late Melvin and Crissie Hampton Blair, he was a brother of the late Rex Blair, Walter Blair, Billy Blair and Bruce Blair.
He was an auto mechanic and boat mechanic specialist in the Columbus area for 30 years.
Surviving are his wife, Lorene Casey Blair; two daughters, Sheila Hampton and husband Randy of Hope, Ind., and Rayetta Mize and husband Alan of Columbus, Ind.; two sons, Steve Blair and wife Ruth of Rugby, Ind., and Anthony Blair of Columbus, Ind.; two brothers, Robert Blair and wife Thelma of Globe, Ariz., and Bobby Blair of Whitesburg; 11 grandchildren, Cory and Melissa Hampton, Austin Mize, Steven Ray, Joseph, Aaron, Tyler and Ashley Blair, Anthony Dale Blair II, Bryce and Morgan Blair; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held December 10 in Columbus, Ind. Burial was in Garland Brook Cemetery.
