Raymond Sexton is buried at Thornton

Funeral services for Raymond Sexton, 53, were held November 11 at the House of Prayer at Thornton. Burial was in the Baker Cemetery at Thornton.

A son of the late Worley and Rose Ann Marie Sexton, he was born in Letcher County. He died November 7 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.

He was married to the late Maranda Kay Leedy Sexton, and was the father of the late Andy Ray Sexton.

Surviving are a daughter, Ramona Lane and husband A.J., Eolia; a sister, Helen Craft, Thornton; four brothers, Harrison Sexton, Millstone; Forster Sexton, Earl Sexton, and Lester Sexton, all of Thornton; and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Larissa Lane and Keelan John Lane, both of Eolia.
