THOMAS/RICHARDSON — The reunion of the Thomas/ Richardson family will be held July 25 at the Pin Oak Shelter at Carr Creek Lake. Those attending should bring food and drinks. The reunion will begin at 10 a.m. For more information, call Frances at (606) 633- 5767 or Emma at (606) 785- 0743.

DIXON/HALCOMB — The 23rd annual Dixon/Halcomb reunion will be held June 19-21 at the Stuart Robinson Campus at Blackey. All descendants of Eddy Dixon and Vina Halcomb and friends and relatives are invited. Saturday’s noon meal will be catered. Wayne Whitaker, a Civil War reenactor, will provide dinner and the evening entertainment, and Gladys (Little) and Don Allen will sing. BUCK CREEK — The 21st annual Buck Creek reunion will be held July 24-25 at the Buck Creek Campground. A luau party will begin at 6 p.m., July 24, with all food provided, followed by an auction. AMBURGEY — The 42nd annual nationwide Amburgey family reunion will be held July 25-26. The Saturday dinner will be held at 6 p.m. at the Knott County Sportsplex. The cost of the dinner will $15. The Sunday reunion will also be held at the Knott County Sportsplex from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those attending should bring a dish and/or donate $5 for cost of food. DAY/KELLY — The Day/ Kelly family reunion will be held July 17 at 6 p.m., July 18 at noon, and July 19 at 10 a.m. at the Cowan Community Center. The theme of the reunion is “Western”. MEADE — Family and friends of the late Newt and Mora McFalls Meade will hold a reunion July 26 at Shelter #1 at Greenbo Lake State Park Resort in Greenup County. Those attending should bring a covered dish and an item for an auction. SEALS — The 24th annual reunion of the descendants of the late James Seals Sr. and first wife Mary Polly Ann (Bentley) Seals and second wife Alice (Amburgey) Seals and the late Delzie and Nannie Sexton Seals will be held at the Pin Oak Shelter #2 at Carr Creek Lake July 5 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish. MITCHELL/GENTRY/ WHITAKER — The Mitchell/ Gentry/Whitaker family reunion will be held August 16 at Pin Oak Shelter #2 at Carr Creek Lake beginning at 11 a.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish, desserts, and soft drinks, and pictures of family members to share. COMBS/FRAZIER — The Combs/Frazier family reunion will be held Saturday, June 27, at the White Pine Shelter at Carr Creek Lake beginning at 11 a.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish and drinks. JUNE MEETING — The 105th annual ‘June Meeting’ memorial church service and reunion will be held Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, at the Whitaker- Caudill Cemetery, Johnson Fork, Premium. The memorial continues the old mountain tradition of annual graveside memorials to remember family and friends who have passed on. GIBSON — The Hop and Minerva Gibson family reunion will be held on June 27 at the Cowan Community Center.
