BENTLEY — Descendants of Laura B. Bentley and W.S. Bentley will hold a reunion the first weekend in August. On Aug. 2, dinner will be served at 1 p.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish; table service will be provided. The reunion will take place at the old Bentley farm near South Shore on Schultz Road, now called Route 10 or AA Highway. Family, friends, and neighbors are invited to attend. CAUDILL — The R.B. Caudill family reunion will be held Sept. 6 at the Shriners building in Whitesburg from 12 to 4 p.m. The descendants of Watson and Elizabeth Berry Caudill, John H. and Mollie Dixon Cornett, R.B. and Alberta Cornett Caudill, and Dixie Newsome Caudill are invited to attend.

BANKS — The Banks family reunion will be held at 11 a.m. , August 15, a t Kingdom Come State Park in Cumberland. Those attending should bring a covered dish. For more information, call Tim Banks at 632-9978.

ADAMS/THOMPSON/ BLAIR — A reunion of the Adams/Thompson/Blair families will be held July 31 and Aug. 1 at the Arthur and Helmer Adams property on Blair Branch. JHS Class of ’89 — The Jenkins High School Class of 1989 will hold its 20-year reunion on Saturday, July 25. A picnic will take place at Lakeside Park from 1 to 4 p.m., and families are invited to attend. A party will be held at the old Country Club at 7 p.m. with a buffet dinner. FIELDS — A reunion of friends and relatives of the late George M. and Rebexie (Caudill) Fields will be held at noon on Saturday, Aug. 4, at Picnic Shelter #4 in Lexington’s Jacobson Park on Richmond Road. WHS CLASS OF ’89 — The Whitesburg High School Class of 1989 will hold its 20th reunion Aug. 21-23. The group will meet at 6 p.m. at Letcher County Central High School for a Cougar football game on Aug. 21. On Aug. 22, there will be a tour of LCCHS at 10 a.m. and dinner at the Shriners’ building at 7 p.m. On Aug. 23, there will be a picnic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pine Oak Shelter at Carr Creek Lake. LETCHER COUNTY DAY — Letcher County Day will begin at 11 a.m., Sept. 26, at the shelter behind the playground at the Harrison Community Center, 300 George St., Harrison, Ohio. BUCK CREEK — The 21st annual Buck Creek reunion will be held July 24-25 at the Buck Creek Campground. A luau party will begin at 6 p.m., July 24, with all food provided, followed by an auction. AMBURGEY — The 42nd annual nationwide Amburgey family reunion will be held July 25-26. The Saturday dinner will be held at 6 p.m. at the Knott County Sportsplex. The cost of the dinner will $15. The Sunday reunion will also be held at the Knott County Sportsplex from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those attending should bring a dish and/or donate $5 for cost of food. MEADE — Family and friends of the late Newt and Mora McFalls Meade will hold a reunion July 26 at Shelter #1 at Greenbo Lake State Park Resort in Greenup County.
