CALAHAN – The Calahan family reunion will be held Oct. 13 at the Kingscreek Fire Department. Those attending should bring a covered dish for a dinner at 12:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

LOYALL SCHOOL – The 28th annual Loyall School reunion will be held at the school on Saturday, Sept. 1. The morning session will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the evening session at 6:30 p.m. All former Loyall students, faculty, and friends are invited to attend.

ADAMS – The annual (Red) John and Larrena Roark Adams family reunion will be held at the Carr Creek Lake Tailwater #2 Picnic Shelter-Poplar on Saturday, Sept. 8. Those attending should bring a covered dish. For more information, call 633-7481 or 633-3369.

SEXTON – The 16th annual reunion of the James C. “Jim” Sexton, Martha Sexton, GeorgeAnn Strong, Lucinda Sexton (Gibson) Sexton families and descendants will be held Sept. 8 at the old homeplace on Saluted Creek, Colson, from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. All relatives and friends are welcome. Those attending should bring a covered dish, musical instruments, and old photographs. KNOTT CO. HIGH SCHOOL – There will be a reunion of faculty, staff and students who attended or worked at the old Knott County High School at Pippa Passes from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, at Alice Lloyd College. For more information, contact alumna Joyce Field Whitaker at (606) 633- 3449.

CAUDILL – The R.B. Caudill family reunion will be held Sept. 2 at the Shriners building in Whitesburg from 12 to 4 p.m. The descendants of Watson and Elizabeth Berry Caudill, R.B. and Alberta Cornett Caudill, John H. and Mollie Dixon Cornett, and Dixie Newsome Caudill are invited to attend. F-NHS Class of ’87 – The Fleming-Neon High School Class of 1987 will hold its 20- year reunion Sept. 7-8. The class will meet at Letcher County Central High School at 6 p.m., Sept. 7, for a tour and then attend the home football game at 7:30 p.m. On Sept. 8, the class will meet at Fishpond Lake at shelter near the dam from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a picnic. Families are invited and those attending should bring their own lunch. At 7 p.m., Sept. 8, a dinner will take place at 7 p.m. at the Seco Winery. COLLINS/KISER – The James (Big Jimmer) Collins/Fred Kiser annual family reunion will be held Sept. 1 and 2 at the Fred Kiser Cemetery on Big Branch at Democrat.
