ADAMS/THOMPSON/ BLAIR — A reunion of the Adams, Thompson, and Blair families will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Sycamore Shelter located at the Carr Creek Dam off Sassafras Road. The reunion dinner will be held at 4 p.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish, beverages, and a lawn chair. For more information, email Lena Campbell at lenaboo@twc.com.

BENTLEY — Descendents of W.S. Bentley and Laura B. Bentley will host a reunion August 4-5. On August 5, a covered dish dinner will take place at 1 p.m., table service provided. The reunion will be held at the old Bentley farm at Letitia in Greenup County near South Shore on the old Schultz Road. Family, friends and neighbors are invited to attend. BOGGS — The Sam and Sarah Boggs family reunion will be held at the Flat Gap Community Center in Pound, Va., on July 28. The reunion will begin at 9 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m. Sam Boggs’s (1862-1946) father was John Riley Boggs (1837- 1888). Sam’s children were sons Joel, John R., Henry, Hansford, Willard, Sylvan, twins Milton and Walton and daughters Ora, Savannah and Maggie. Those attending should bring a covered dish for a potluck lunch.

WHS CLASS OF 1963 — The Whitesburg High School Class of 1963’s 55th class reunion will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, and Saturday, Sept. 29. Members of the class will enjoy two days of wonderful memories. For more information, call Linda Jarrett at (606) 633-2241.

COLLINS — The 15th reunion of the family of Henry and Rosilla Collins and Silas and Effie Collins will be held at Dogwood Shelter at Carr Creek Lake from noon to 4 p.m., August 4. MEADE — The Newt and Mora McFall Meade reunion will be held Sunday, July 29, at Greenbo Lake State Park in Greenup County at Shelter Number 1. On Saturday, July 28, all day visitation will take place in the Jesse Stewart lobby will dinner in the lodge dining room at 6 p.m. All friends and family are welcome.
