WHS CLASS OF ’94 — The Whitesburg High School Class of 1994 will hold its 20-year class reunion on Saturday, Sept. 27, beginning at 7 p.m. at Highlands Winery in Seco. PINE MT. SCHOOL — The Pine Mountain Settlement School reunion of community members and classmates from 1949 to 1972 will be held August 9 at Pine Mountain Settlement School. Registration is from 2 to 3 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $5.50 for children under the age of 12. Advance reservations are required for the meal. COLLINS/KISER — The Collins-Kiser annual reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 31, at the Colson Volunteer Fire Department/Community Center at Democrat. All family and friends are invited. COLLIER — A reunion of the descendants and friends of Hobert and Clara Collier will be held Aug. 6 at the Collier family estate on Kingdom Come Creek, Premium, in Mary Warden’s yard. CARICO REUNION — A reunion of descendants of Samuel L. and Martha H. Carico and others will be held Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Mumford Carico homeplace on Sandy Ridge. Turn right on Carico Ridge to the end of the lane, then turn left on Cozy Lane. Those attending should bring a covered dish, a two-liter drink and musical instruments. ADAMS/THOMPSON/BLAIR — A reunion of the Adams, Thompson and Blair families will be held August 1 and 2 at the Arthur and Helmer Adams property on Blair Branch. AMBURGEY — The Amburgey family reunion will be held Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27. The Sunday reunion will also be at the school from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish.

LHS CLASS OF ’64 — The Letcher High School Class of 1964 will hold its 50-year reunion July 11 and 12. July 11, there will be a picnic at Dogwood campsite at Carr Creek Lake on Rte. 160 from 2 to 9 p.m. July 12, the reunion will be at the Letcher Elementary School cafeteria from noon to 6 p.m. All classmates, guests and former teachers are welcome. WHS CLASS OF ’77 — The Whitesburg High School Class of 1964 will hold its 38-year reunion on Sept. 20. There will a family picnic on the James Pennington property on Pine Mountain from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish. There will be dinner and dancing for the classmates from 6 to 12 p.m. at the Shriners’ building. MEADE—The Newt and Mora McFalls Meade 50th family reunion will be held Sunday, July 27, in Shelter #1 at Greenbo State Park in Greenup County. Lunch will be served at noon. COLLINS —The 11th reunion of the family of Henry and Rosilla Collins and Silas and Effie Collins will be held at Dogwood Shelter at Carr Creek Lake from noon to 6 p.m., August 2. WHITAKER — The Mitchell Gentry Whitaker family reunion will be held July 20 at the Pin Oak Shelter at Carr Creek Lake from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish, soft drinks and an item for auction to pay for the shelter. WHS CLASS OF ’64 — The Whitesburg High School Class of 1964 will hold its 50-year reunion July 11 and 12 at the Shriners Building in Whitesburg. MIDDLE COWAN — The Middle Cowan Community reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 4, at the Cowan Community Center. Those attending should bring drinks, ice, water, a covered dish, bread or desserts. Donations are sought to cover the cost of the community center, plates, cups and bowls, and no alcohol is allowed. No pets can be in the community center building. DAY/KELLY — The annual Day/Kelly family reunion will be held at 6 p.m., July 11; noon, July 12, and 8 a.m., July 13, at the Cowan Community Center. The theme of the reunion is birthday.
