Riley Caudill dies at 57

Funeral services for Riley Dean Caudill, 57, of Dry Fork, were held September 8 at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Caudill Cemetery at Johnson Fork.

A son of the late Homer and Margaret Marshall Caudill, he died September 5 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington.

Mr. Caudill was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Lisa Caudill; a son, Justin “Jud” Caudill of Dry Fork; a daughter, Jackie Maynard and husband Josh of Catlettsburg; two grandchildren, Riley Grace Maynard and Lilah Jade Frazier; special grandson, Kason; three brothers, Hiram Caudill and wife Jo, Tom Caudill and wife Brenda, and Joe Caudill and wife Monica, all of Premium; and three sisters, Sharlet Ison of Kingdom Come, Mildred Mcdaniel and husband Dwayne of Spencer, Tenn., and Vel Caudill of Premium.
