Eligie Lee Isaac, 75, died November 20 at his home in Hemphill.
Born in Hemphill to the late Andy and Martha Isaac, he was the widower of Verlois Sparks Isaac.
He was the father of the late Roger Lee Isaac, and a brother of the late Clyde Turner.
A member of the United Mine Workers of America, he was a retired coal miner and a past member of the Fleming-Neon Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
Surviving are a son, Wayne Isaac and wife Rita of Wise, Va.; a daughter, Brandi Hall of Wise, Va.; three granddaughters, Lori Beth Isaac of Richmond, Jennifer Isaac Crouse and husband Allen of Buckhorn, and Kristen Isaac Thompson of Blackey; two grandsons, Adam Sexton and wife Nicole of Norton, Va., and Braden Hall of Wise, Va.; four great-grandchildren, Andrew Sexton, Lily Sexton, Kynnedi Thompson and Anna Sexton; a sister, Sue Bates of Thornton; and two brothers, Joe Isaac and wife Juanita of Millstone, and Archie Isaac and wife Carol of Haymond.
Funeral services were held November 22 at Carty Funeral Home in Neon. Burial was in Sparks Family Cemetery at McRoberts.
