Jack Delano Cantrell, 74, of Seco, died June 2 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A son of Pauline Marie Cantrell of Cromona and the late Atchie Ono Cantrell, he was a brother of the late Thelma Ruth Anderson and Harold Rutherford Cantrell.
He had worked for Reynolds Aluminum Corporation, Hopewell, Va., was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Ben Caudill Camp 1629. He was also an avid University of Kentucky sports fan.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a friend, Norma Napier of Seco; three daughters, Jacqueline Kay Dotson of Nightsdale, N.C., Alice Rose of Hopewell, Va., and Michelle Correll of Salem, Va.; two sisters, Regina Carol Carmony of Hopewell, Va., and Alice Faye Jowers, Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Joseph Kenneth Cantrell of Cromona; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 5 at Carty Funeral Home in Fleming-Neon. Burial was in Whitaker Cemetery.
