Rites held for Alma Lee shell



Alma Lee Shell, 55, of Kona, died March 9 at Pikeville Medical Center.

Born in Letcher County to the late Dewey and Exa Lee Rose, she was a sister of the late Dewey Rose Jr. and Tessie Rose. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Surviving are her husband, James Shell; two sisters, Dolores Phillips and Wilma Maggard, both of Kona; and a brother, Jesse Rose of Dry Fork.

Funeral services were held March 12 in Jenkins. Burial was in Carter family cemetery at Kona.
