Anthony James Holbrook, 49, died December 31 at his home at Kona.
Born at Neon, he was a son of Betty King Holbrook of Kona, and the late James Holbrook. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had worked as a manager of a commercial chicken farm.
He attended the Neon First Church of God.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Elizabeth Bice Holbrook; three daughters, Jessica Collier and husband Rob, Mayking, and Cheyanne Holbrook and Amber Holbrook, both of Kona; two grandchildren, Peyton Yevonne Collier and Skyler James Carrol Collier; two sisters, Jennifer Meeks and Lovene Bentley, both of Kona; a brother, Eric Holbrook, Kona; and cousin Jerry David Holbrook.
Funeral services were held January 3 at the Neon First Church of God. Burial was in the Holbrook family cemetery.
Carty Funeral Home of Neon had charge of arrangements.
