Funeral services for Baylus Caudill, 64, were held February 21 at Everidge Funeral Home. Burial was in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.
A son of the late Astor and Renavae Gilley Caudill, he died February 18 at his home in Whitesburg.
He was a member of Millstone Missionary Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Faye Taylor Caudill; two daughters, Michelle Ann Varner and husband Jose, Pound, Va., and Helen Lashay Day, Indianapolis, Ind.; three sons, Randall Baylus Caudill and wife Lisa, Lynch, James Allen Taylor, Sevierville, Tenn., and Nathaniel Jason Hall, Whitesburg; a sister, Mattie Vern Eldridge and husband Matthew, Sandlick; a sister in-law, Phyllis Caudill, Roxana; nine grandchildren, Aaron Varner, Bethany Varner, Brett Allen Day, Regan Nicole Caudill, Noah Crabtree, Taylor ReAnn Hall, Colton James Alben, Kayden Campbell and Brenton Cole; a great-grandson, Jacob Aiden Mullins; and a friend, Mike Lucas.
