Cora Susan “Sue” Richardson, 84, died April 6 at her home in Jenkins.
A daughter of the late J.M. Webb, Sr. and Nanny Hughes Webb, she was the widow of Earl Clay Richardson.
She was the mother of the late Kathleen “Kitty” Mullins, and a sister of the late Arlie Webb, Vernard Webb, Carlos Webb, Doward Webb, Howard Webb, Henry M. Webb, Jr., Deloris Haynes and Mary Louise Minor. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, and a greatgrandson.
She had worked at the Cavalier Drug Store in Jenkins, and was retired after more than 25 years at Jenkins City Hall.
She was a member of the Bethel Old Regular Baptist Church in Jenkins.
Surviving are a daughter, Connie Sue Doty and husband Roy; four sons, Douglas Clay Richardson, Thomas Darrell Richardson and wife Billie June, Richard Earl Richardson and David Allen Richardson and wife Evon; two sisters, Audrey Kincer and Monelle Caudill; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held April 9 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in Whitaker Cemetery at Seco.
