DENNIS RAY BENTLEY
Dennis Ray Bentley, 66 of Jenkins, died December 24 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A son of the late Carl Bentley and Hattie Quillen Tackett, he was the widower of Linda Collie Cornett.
Mr. Bentley was a retired coal miner.
Surviving are a son, Carlos Ray Bentley and wife Angela of Jeremiah; a daughter, Anetta Lynn Bentley and Camrin Johnson of Jenkins; a brother, Darrell Bentley of Pippa Passes; four grandchildren, Montana Dawn Bailey, Ashley Ann Bentley, Destiny Marie Blevins and Caleb Ray Bentley; and a great-grandchild, Aubrey Nicole.
Funeral services were held on December 29 at Hall & Jones Funeral Home with Rodney Bentley officiating. Burial was in the Johnson-Bentley Cemetery at Dorton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hallandjones.com.
