Funeral services for Earl Ray Goodman, 56, of McRoberts, were held April 16 at People’s Fundamental Baptist Church in Dunham. Burial was in Webb Cemetery at Mayking.
A son of the late James Thomas and Geneva Young Goodman, he died April 13 at Pikeville Regional Medical Center.
He was a brother of the late William Goodman and Harold Goodman, and a stepbrother of the late Viola Hampton, Andrew Goodman, William Goodman, James Goodman and Sherman Goodman, and an uncle of the late Dana Webb.
He was a disabled coal miner, and enjoying cooking, camping, hiking, and traveling.
Surviving are two daughters, Valerie Taylor, Millstone, and Katelyn Goodman, Jenkins; a son, Scotty Ray Goodman, Haymond; three grandchildren, Dalton, Ethan and Keaton; his fiancée, Cynthia Spangler, McRoberts; four sisters, Wilma Mullins, Mayking, Betty Webb, Whitesburg, Elsie Webb, Louisville and Deranda Wyatt, Cromona; three brothers, Van Goodman, McRoberts, Ricky Goodman, Florida, and Dennis Goodman, Louisville; and three step-grandchildren, Nick, Nate and Noah.
