Rites held for Eddie Ray Collins

Funeral services for Eddie Ray Collins, 79, were held January 19 at Little Colley Pentecostal Church. Burial was in the Watts Cemetery at Hallie.

A son of the late McKinley and Alta Mae Frazier Collins, he died January 16 at his residence at Isom.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Collins; 1 son, Robert Wayne Collins and wife Rowena of Lexington; a stepson, Donald Ray Collins of Flemingsburg; two daughters, Barbara Ann Pratt and husband Steve of Hallie, and Michelle Niece and husband David of Owensboro; a stepdaughter, Katie Meade of Kingscreek; a sister, Yvonne Collins of Rockhouse; five grandchildren, Steven Pratt Jr., Devin Collins, Alex Collins, Austin Bolling, and Dalton Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Maggie and Audrey; his mother-in-law, Josephene Spangler; a sister-in-law, Ella J Cook; and a special niece, Carol Breeding.

Mr. Collins was preceded in death by a son, David Ray Collins; a stepson, Daniel Lee Collins; six brothers, Lee Collins, Dock Collins, Samp Collins, Jim Collins, Herb Collins, and Bobby Collins; and two sisters, Ellene Adams, and Sis Baker Collins.

Letcher Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
