Rites held for Elsie ‘Pat’ Anderson





Funeral services for Elsie “Pat” Anderson, 78, were held November 1 at the Burdine Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.

A daughter of the late Linden “Cap” and Laura Morgan LeMaster, she was born at Cromona. She was the widow of James E. Anderson, and was a sister of the late Johnny LeMaster, Linnie Fox, Betty LeMaster, and Billie Sue King.

Mrs. Anderson died October 29 at her home at Haymond. She was a volunteer for the Department of Social Services and was a member of the Burdine Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Jennifer Lynn Hall and husband Randy, Cromona; Nida Jo Anderson Abkemeir and husband Ken, Sheffield Lake, Ohio; and Bianca M. Stewart and husband Allen, Millstone; a son, James Michael Anderson and wife Kathy, Harrisburg, Penn.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jo Ann Ferraro, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Mary Stevens, Springfield, Ill.; and Linda Kay Olsen, Gillette, Wyo.; and two brothers, Jimmy LeMaster, Owenton, and Gary LeMaster, Jackhorn.
