Funeral services for Evelyn Tackett, 59, will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the Seco Freewill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Tackett died October 16, at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville. She was a daughter of the late Shade and Bernice Johnson Anderson, and the widow of Luther Tackett.
Survivors include two sons, Luther Tackett and wife Teresa of Potter’s Fork, and Anthony ‘T.C.’ Tackett and wife Denise of Hemphill; a daughter, Kimberly Isaac and husband Roger of Potter’s Fork; a sister, Nina Collier and husband Mark of Winchester; three brothers, David Anderson of McRoberts, Dennis Anderson and wife Nettie of Jenkins, and Greg Anderson and wife Diane of Rockhouse; a brother in-law, Parnell Fields of Potter’s Fork, and a sisterin law, Sue Anderson of Indiana. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Asteria Cook, Clint Cook, Dakota Tackett, Gage Isaac, Jordan Isaac, Hunter Tackett, James ‘Buzz’ Hall, Chelsi Hall and Lakrisha Isaac Mullins; and three great-grandchildren, Gunner, Clayton and Lela.
Burial will be in Tackett Family Cemetery at Potter’s Fork. Everidge Funeral Home, Whitesburg, is handling arrangements.
