Funeral services for Hargus ‘Bo’ Baker, 60, of Thornton, were held March 7 at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Lucas family cemetery at Thornton.
A son of the late Millard and Easter Sexton Baker, he died March 4 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.
He was the widower of Ligemae Lucas Baker, and a brother of the late Wanda Mubaraz, Sue Ferrin, and Clark Baker.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Baker of Burlington and Timothy Baker of Thornton; two daughters, Trish Stull of Mt. Sterling and Rebecca Potter of Thornton; nine brothers and sisters, Ray Baker and Ritter Wynn, both of Thornton, Ottis Baker and Joe Baker, both of Alabama, Sydney Baker of McRoberts, Lou Cook of Dry Fork, Sherry Dyer of Colson, Faye Hurley of Pikeville and Terry Baker of Colson; eight grandchildren, Megan Baker, Evan Baker and Ben Baker, all of Burlington, Mitchell Mullins, Sean Potter and Luke Potter, all of Thornton, and Blaine Stull and Brianna Stull, both of Mt. Sterling; and three greatgrandchildren, Alexander Mullins, Isabella Mullins and Gabriel Mullins, all of Florida.
