Harold Dean Fleming, 67, of Jackhorn, died March 24 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born in Letcher County to the late William and Edna Johnson Fleming, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Darlene, Nettie and Linda.
He enjoyed fishing, working in the flower garden, and going to church.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Fleming; three sons, Paul Fleming and wife Kelly of New Hampshire, William Fleming and wife Nancy of Louisville, and Harold “Deke” Fleming Jr. and wife Jolene of Wallins; two stepsons, Gary Watkins and wife Kristy of Phelps, and John Watkins and wife Lorie of Jackhorn; two daughters, Kimberly Gibbs and husband Anthony of Alabama, and Krystal Fleming and Earnest Austin of Jackhorn; two stepdaughters, Misty Fields and husband Steven of Cowan, and Kathy Begley of Georgia; three brothers, Randall Fleming of Lexington, Fearl Fleming of Amherst, Oh., and Skip Fleming of Alabama; a sister, Brenda Adams of Payne Gap; 21 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 27 at Dunham Fundamental Baptist Church. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
