Idabelle ‘Polly’ Lindley, 91, of Turbotville, Penn., died May 16 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, N.J.
Reared on Bottom Fork, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Nancy Ellen Webb Polly, and the widow of Reuben John Lindley. She was a sister of the late Troy Polly, Add Polly, Carl Polly, Willard Polly, Curtis Polly, and the late Nannie Cook.
The Lindley lived in New York until her husband’s retirement in 1976, when they returned to Bottom Fork. She lived the last few years of her life in Turbotville, Penn., and Middletown, N.J.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Flora DuRussell, Turbotville, Penn., and Janet Wall, Middletown, N.J.; five grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren; a brother, Wiley Polly, Jenkins; and two sisters, Ritter Cooke, Norton, Va., and Ruth Brown Caudill, Whitesburg.
Funeral services were held May 21 at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in Webb Cemetery at Mayking.
