Funeral services for Isaac D. Caudill, 82, were held January 4 in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Caudill & Mullins Cemetery at Smoot Creek.
He died January 1 at Pikeville Medical Center.
A son of the late Harrison and Matilda Boggs Caudill, he was the widower of Loretta Bryant Caudill. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Caudill, Wayne Caudill and Elzie Caudill, and five sisters, Marie Wells, Katheline Sturgill, Doris Hall, Wanda Mullins and Emilee Tyree.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the McRoberts Old Regular Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Diana C. Collier of Winchester, Rhonda R. Caudill of Van, and Jerri A. Adams and husband Larry of Whitesburg; a son, Maurice W. Caudill and wife Vickie of Whitco; a brother, Steve Caudill of Colly; a sisters, Minerva Bird of Knoxville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Greg and wife Nicole, Mallorie, Rachel, Victoria “Dee” and Loretta; and four greatgrandchildren, Harrison Shade, Paitynn Richardson, Makaila Caudill and Rhiannon Caudill.
