Jimmy D. Spangler, 75, died February 21 at his home in Whitesburg.
A son of the late Carl and Bessie Collins Spangler, he was a brother of the late Billy Spangler.
He was a member of Whitesburg Masonic Lodge No. 754 and Mountain Shrine Club.
Surviving are his wife, Ernestine Craft Spangler; two daughters, Renee Stump and husband Tim of Georgetown, and Jaranda Brunty and husband Chuck of Pikeville; three sisters, Wanda Niece of Campbranch, and Sue Sexton and Doris Sexton, both of Sandlick; three grandchildren, Amanda Adams, Jordan Blair and McKinley Brunty; two great-grandchildren, Shelbi Adams and Savannah Adams; two step-grandchildren, Laura Woosley and Joshua Stump; and a step-greatgrandson, Sebastian Woosley.
Funeral services were held February 25 in Whitesburg. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
