Kenneth Eldridge, 83, died February 21 at his home in Milan, Ind.
Born in Carcassonne, he was the son of the late Colonel and Angelina Caudill Eldridge. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Hicks, and a brother, Clyde Eldridge.
He was a construction worker and finish carpenter with Scudder Brothers and later Lyness Construction. He did beautiful woodwork in churches and nursing homes, and worked with Lyness Construction in the Federal building in Cincinnati.
Surviving are his wife of almost 60 years, Glenora F. Bryant Eldridge; sons, Gary L. Eldridge of Grand Island, Fla., Gregory A. Eldridge of Ft. Wright, and Randy L. Eldridge and wife Don Ann of Secane, Penn.; a daughterin law, Janie Eldridge of Rising Sun, Ind.; grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Meghan, Sarah, Whitney and Emily; great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Brooklyn, Nicholas and Joshua; a brother, Clinton Eldridge of Batesville, Ind.; and a sister, Ila Richards of South Carolina.
Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Services were held February 24 in Sunman, Ind. Burial was in Little Memory Old Regular Baptist Church Cemetery.
