Larry Dean Fields, 66, of Richmond, died June 28 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
Born in Letcher County to Martha Caudill Fields and the late Lee Fields, he was a brother of the late Bernice Bates, and the father-in-law of the late Bryan Colegrove.
He was a retired respiratory therapist and worked at Rockwell International in Winchester for 23 years.
He was a member of Tates Creek Baptist Church of Richmond and helped found the Better Breathers Club.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Judy Kaye Addington Fields; three daughters, Darla Colegrove, of Berea, Sharla Lake and husband Bryan of Union, and Benita Land and husband Chris of Houston, Tex.; four grandchildren, Jared Colegrove and wife Veronica, Kaytlin Lake, Alex Lake, and Zac Land; and a sister, Evelyn Pentzien and husband Roger of Nebraska.
Funeral services for Mr. Fields were held July 2 at Tates Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in the Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg.
