Rites held for Patsy Stamper

PATSY STAMPER

Patsy L. Stamper, 75, of Corbin, died February 8 at Baptist Health Center in Corbin.

A daughter of the late Paschal and Alice Wilder Maggard, she was a sister of the late Lola Maggard.

Mrs. Stamper was a retired office manager and bookkeeper.

She and her husband were founders of the Whitesburg Church of the Nazarene, and she was a member of the Corbin Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School.

Surviving are her husband, Steve Stamper; two daughters, Susan Stamper Tyree of Hazard and Lorrie Johnson of Corbin; a brother, Bill Maggard and wife Hazel of Lexington, N.C.; a sister, Ella Sizemore and husband John of McKee; two grandchil- dren, Josh Tyree and wife Whitney, and Eric Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Finnley Tyree; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Caudill.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stamper were held Monday, February 11, at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Sandlick Cemetery.
