Funeral services for Paul Dean Kiser, 65 of Bowling Green, Ohio, were held December 5 in Jenkins. Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.
Born at Thornton to the late John Paul and Pearl Kiser, he died November 20 at his home at Bowling Green.
He was a brother of the late Roberta Bentley and Aloma “Peco” Kiser, and a grandfather of the late Krystlyn Dean Ramos.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the 25th Infantry Division and served during the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War as an air defense artillery/ quartermaster and a heavy equipment operator in transportation.
Surviving are his former wife, Grace Gullett and her husband Burke; two daughters, Veronica Ramos of Bowing Green, Oh., and grandchildren Marissa and Morgan Ramos, and Angela Kiser Crawford of Dalzell, S.C. and grandchildren Ashli, John, and Justin; a son Rick Herrera of Pontiac, Mich. and grandchildren Rickael, Brooke and Justin; seven brothers and sisters, Larry Kiser, Teresa Kiser, Kathy Kiser Bolling, Johnny Kiser, Jerome “Tonto” Kiser, Jonathan “Gumby” Kiser and Lisa Kiser Carrier.
Also surviving are his wife, Kimberly Sandidge of Castlewood, Va.; her three children, and seven stepgrandchildren.
